Hello World =]
My names Stephanie and I use to have another blog but I decided to delete it and start fresh. I am an artist and I am constantly stumbling across different things everyday. I just kind of want to use this to share my thoughts and ideas =]
Hope some people can find some humor and or appreciation for something I post lol

So summer has been a time for lots of hott weather and apparently lots of time to start getting to understand my camera better. So last month i went out with my good friend Karla becuase her sister, Susanna, had asked me to take some pictures of her. I was completely up for it since i have just been dying to practice using my SLR. I was excited! =] We went out ot downtown Phoenix and decided to go for an Urban shoot. We ended up stumbling across an abandoned house/shack type of place and ventured in to take some shots. It was a fun and interesting place to say the least.
This shot i snapped just before we had left this shack. We heard a loud noise come from the 2nd floor. We immediately decided to leave this place. I was happy i was able to get a shot here because the ropes were oddly hung in an interesting fashion from the pillars. =]
I really found this opening on the side of the house to be interesting. It was a giant hole where the bricks had begun to be torn apart on the bottom half barely exposing the area below the house.
I wish i could have gotten some clearer shots. So i know if im in a similar area i can just adjust the settings to lessen the graininess in the background. Besides that i was happy with this shot. It is interesting and i love Susanna's posture in the shot.
I love working in this real world enviornment =]
